Snowmaking is the process of manufacturing manmade snow. This process typically includes forcing water and pressurized air through a “snow gun” or “snow cannon”. Snowmaking pipes and snowmaking systems can be used at ski resorts and ski parks to supplement natural snow in order to improve snow cover and extend the ski season. Indoor ski slopes also must use snowmaking equipment to create snow covered surfaces.
